Listing abbreviations of PR, PL, ASL, Posterior Sacrum, PIL, PIR and PI Ilium represent attendant muscular reflex hypertonicitys found on the levels of articular dysfunction.  These designations also convey the direction of force applied to a specified segment.  Muscular activity is documented consistent with patterns typically associated with these listings.  The muscles that are most frequently monitored are the suboccipitals, transversospinals, erector spinae, levator scapulae, piriformis and gluteals.  Therefore muscular activity is represented by these same abbreviations.
